Dana DeKalb has been dedicated to art for her entire life. A collector and working artist herself, she graduated from Pomona College in Claremont, California, with a degree in Studio Art, Cum Laude, receiving two awards for high academic achievement. She made San Francisco her home in 1979.

Since 1981, DeKalb has been managing and directing contemporary art galleries in the San Francisco Bay Area, most recently with Hackett-Freedman Gallery in San Francisco. She has developed a network of art professionals, collectors, artists and art lovers across the country. Although she enjoys the challenge and variety of all the different aspects of her profession, her most satisfying achievement is finding the perfect match of artwork and viewer.
