mission statement:
We want to assemble a collection of bright, exciting, well thought out pieces (both painting and sculpture) that bring the viewer joy, happiness, and are fun to live with. The work we are bringing together is by both established and emerging artists, people who are serious about what they do, and are excited about their art.
Although we have the deepest respect for long-standing traditions, and those who established them, we feel there is a real place in the art world for work that is accessible, both visually and financially. Art, in a real sense, need not only exist in museums. It should be something you want to live with, that brings a smile to your face, or makes you feel great each time you see it, like a ray of sunshine in your life.
Whether it is modern music as opposed to classical, or current fiction as opposed to traditional literary work, or contemporary as opposed to the well-known classics, in each field there is an honorable and much needed place for what is new and exciting. Art is not only determined by the importance or long-standing reputation of the master who creates it, it is in fact just as worthy of respect, perhaps even more so, if it is different, unusual, and new. Even the great masters were once young and unknown, and people looked askance at the fresh eye they brought to the world, and how they viewed it.
What makes art, in our opinion, is a work you admire, one that makes you happy each time you see it, and above all one you love. We hope that you love the work that we bring to you. And if so, it becomes a blessing and a joy to all who share in the process, creator, viewer, and those who join the two.
